COLLEGE/WESTEC STUDENTS PASS STATE LICENSE TEST!
Taft College at WESTEC court reporting students successfully
passed the rigorous testing requirements of the California
Court Reporters Board and have received their Certified
Shorthand Reporters license! The four, pictured below, are
(left to right), Katie Johnson, Ashley Keene, Aubrey Mesa
and Alyson Duclos.
In order to
receive a Certified Shorthand Reporters license in the state
of California, students must pass a 200 word per minute
dictation test, along with two written exams, an English
test as well as a Professional Practices exam.
